Hubba’s hideout in Northern California, Flushing ledges in New York, and Southern California’s Dolphin Park, will all be given a hard good-bye from the aggressive inline skating community. Similar to rollerBANGER, these ledges were made by Blader’s for roller BLADERS and this unique architecture was made perfectly for this action sport. Skateboarders could never understand how to get speed in this circle pool. BMXers could never get their wheels off the floor when the pegs hit the concrete. The circle ledges requires a specific step - a crossover that Blader’s can only understand, creating a a vortex, an energy to perform tricks that only belong to this spot. 360 sweatstance anywhere else, and you’ll be wearing that wristguard wondering why I was able to get it at Dolphin Park but, not anywhere else.

The spot was low key, vandals, Blader’s were able to relax in a secret oasis in the park hidden off the main street for locals only with green grass fields, distant from cops hassling you from “destroying” their property. Still popular today, these ledges have been in the Carson family for over 20 years and with the rollerBANGER flick ready to drop, it was only right to give these ledges a proper goodbye with the premiere of the VOD and a proper Farewell BBQ with Blading with Chef Knives - Mike Obedoza and Jeremy “juice” Almodovar on the grill with Filipino infused tacos.
